New Knife: www.KyoceraAdvancedCeramics.com

I am so excited about the latest addition to my family of knives. It's a super sharp, sturdy ceramic knife. (Kyocera-Revolution Series FK-160 BK) These knives keep an edge like no other knife I've ever owned. My first ceramic is smaller but still as sharp as when I purchased it almost one year ago. These knives are breakable but worth the money.

Chef Monica's Philosophy

I’ve been working as Beaumont’s private chef for over 6 years now and have forged an exciting culinary relationship with a larger part of the Golden Triangle. I have cooked many different meals for a wide array of clients and events. The best part of my job is meeting the client and creating the perfect meal plan for them. Each client has a specific culinary request. Some examples are: dietary concerns, organic cuisine, gluten-free diet, recovering from surgery or training for the big race. You may see me on the early morning show on channel six or catch me teaching a cooking class at various locations. More than likely you'll find me in the produce department of our local grocery stores. As an active member of the slow food movement, I believe that it is extremely important to cook food from its most natural state. I cook with organic produce, preservative and dye-free food, wild caught fish, and I use local produce whenever possible.
